Overnight Stays
Starting at $80 for one dog, I will stay at your house overnights for the allotted time to ensure the animal(s) get everything they need. It’s +$15 for each additional dog, and +$5 for each cat in the house.
Not only do I look after each pet diligently and their every need, but I also look after plants, shovel snow, scoop poop, and even can grab mail for you. I stay at the house for most of the time, only leaving for other jobs, appts., etc., for no longer than approximately 6 hours; which can be shortened for certain animals (ex. puppies, senior dogs, etc.). My employees will be the ones to take on all overnight stays; unless I have communicated otherwise.
As I step into the training aspect of things, these two amazing girls have a lot more time to spend at home with your babies, while I’m out doing the more challenging things. (You are more than welcome to meet either one of them on request!)
Extra fees that may affect your price include: a reactive pet fee (if they are reactive towards ME), puppy fees for young, high energy pups who need more attention, out of town fees, late arrivals back home (after 5pm), or early departures (before 11am).
If your pet(s) go to True North k9 Compound, there is a $10 charge per visit.
Overnight Cat Stays
For $75 for any number of cats, I will stay at your house overnights for the allotted time to ensure the cat(s) get everything they need. Not only do I look after each cat diligently and their every need, but I also look after plants, and shovel snow, and anything else you might need. Meet N Greets
Before actually taking care of your animal(s), for $35, I will come to your home for roughly an hour to get to know you and all pets in the house. I complete forms that will help me better understand each animal, and follow consistent rules and needs. I offer tips and training tricks, so even if you do not need my services in the near future, I am able to set you up for success.
Meet N Greets for cat/rodent households only (or small pets only) will be $25.
If you would like to meet my employee as well, they can join me at the meet n greet for the same price. If we have to schedule a separate meeting to introduce one another, its $15.
Walks
Starting at $25, I will take your dog for a walk on leash, practicing consistent leash control skills, and proven tactics to help reduce stress in reactive dogs. For half hour walks, its $25, and +$5 for a second dog. For hour long walks, it is $35 for one dog, and $40 for two. If a household has two dogs, I decide on a case by case basis if they will be safe to walk together, or if I need to do two separate, shorter walks for each one. That enables me to give more one on one attention to higher energy dogs.
I provide tons of healthy treats to ensure proper training, and my own waste bags. I provide clicker training for dogs who I feel would benefit from such, and play some mentally stimulating brain games before walks for dogs who are more high energy, or for those who need a bit of calming before going out into the world. My employee has gotten training to walk some of the less reactive or high-energy babies.
I offer walks with the training aspect added, to help you teach your dog to stay calm and collected on walks. For walks with the owner present, it will depend on the difficulty of training, and the length of walk we take together, but that price will start at $50 for any training consult, for all the knowledge I will be passing onto the owner.
Check-ins
I will go to your home for up to two hours to look after your dog(s), giving them anything they might need during that time (without leaving the premesis with them; apartments are the only exception). For one dog for half an hour is $25. For 1 hour, it is $30. If you would like me to stay longer than one hour, it will start at $25 per hour, for one dog.
I give them a long potty break at the beginning and end of my visit, and either relax and cuddle, play some mental games, play in the backyard, or give any needed feedings or medications. My staff will be visiting some of the more relaxed pets, to help out.
Cat/rodent Check-ins
I will stop by your home for half an hour to an hour to give the cat(s) (and small pets) anything they need, from feedings, litter box cleaning, medications, etc. It is $25, for any # of small pets. Employees will be helping me with some cat check-ins!
True North k9 Compound Visit
True North is a private park here in Med Hat, up in Brier Park. It is a completely safe and private compound for each pet to run free! The park is perfect for multi-dog families to play at different paces, or reactive pets to be alone. I come pick up your pet from your home just before the booking is set to start, and I commute them to the park for 45 minutes (weather permitting). Ill run, play, and test your dog’s brain out there. Then, I drive them back to your home to relax. This service is $45 for one dog, +$5 per extra. I even have a brand new, safe vehicle to transport them in, with tons of room, and some great seat-belts
Farms & Acreages
If you live outside of Medicine Hat city limits (Redcliff, Dunmore, Irvine, and areas) this applies to you. All services are the same, except a slight price raise. For Meet N Greets, Daycare, and Cat Check-ins, there is an additional $5-$10 night or per visit (depending on how far out you live).
Farm animal Check-ins will range from $30-$50, depending on # of animals, and amount of care needed.
For overnight stays, they start at $80, and are raised depending on each home, since there are so many variables that affect price (How many pets out there, how much care needed for each, how far away your home is located, etc.).
I will work with you to come up with a fair price for my work.
Socialization Service
Socialization between dogs from different households, or dogs socializing with the public through Lexie's Pet Care, will all be done safely, taking numerous steps and precautions in order to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved. Lexie’s employees will have training, and will carry specific supplies, and we will even use muzzles, all in the event that any issues arise. Also, all clients will be presented with the same steps and requirements, some more than others depending on the disposition of each dog being socialized. The steps will be done in order, starting on leash with distance, and hopefully ending with a dog playdate. We will have your pet for either 30mins, and will cost $35, or an hour for $50.

Training Consults
With all of the knowledge and training I have accumulated over the years, I am able to offer training plans for your dog(s). I have 3 positive, fear-free trainers behind me, but I am confident with most behaviour issues that may arise in your home. For one dog, I will budget 1 hour for your dog, and will start at $50, and 30 minutes for $35.
